Robin Hood: Men in Tights – June 2013

Having fought valiantly alongside King Richard during the formidable Crusades, Robin of Locksley returns to his homeland with a heavy heart, only to discover that the once-thriving realm of England is now under the tyrannical grip of the nefarious Prince John and his scheming accomplice, the Sheriff of Rottingham. The common folk live in constant fear, oppressed by heavy taxes and the threat of violence.

Determined to bring justice to the land, Robin seeks to reclaim the freedom that his people deserve. In addition to his noble quest, he is also attempting to win the affection of the fair Maid Marian, a spirited and intelligent woman who shares his vision of a better England.

To aid him in his mission, Robin gathers a motley crew of misfits from all walks of life, each possessing unique skills and eccentricities. With humour and determination, he trains them to become his merry men, instilling in them not only the art of archery and swordsmanship but also the spirit of camaraderie and rebellion. Their training sessions are filled with laughter and mishaps, including the infamous incident where they struggle to accommodate their ladders in their tights, resulting in a series of comical mishaps that bond them even more.

As Robin and his merry band embark on daring escapades, they devise clever plans to outsmart the Sheriff and his men, liberating the villagers and redistributing stolen riches. However, their struggles culminate in a climactic showdown with the Sheriff, where they must confront the forces of wickedness head-on in a spectacular battle of good versus evil.
