Peter Pan, transported audiences on an unforgettable journey filled with heart, humour, and high-flying magic. Across its performances, the production brought the beloved story to life with classic panto charm, delightful chaos, and a sprinkle of fairy dust that left audiences of all ages cheering, laughing, and joining in the fun.

Audiences were welcomed into the Darling family’s cosy nursery, where dreams began and adventure beckoned. It wasn’t long before the mysterious and ever-youthful Peter Pan appeared at the window, swiftly joined by the sparkling, if occasionally mischievous, Tinker Bell. Together, they whisked Wendy, John, and Michael away to the fantastical world of Neverland — a place where imagination reigns, danger lurks, and no one ever has to grow up.

Once in Neverland, the audience met a whole host of unforgettable characters: the lovable and energetic Lost Boys, the beautifully mysterious Mermaids, and of course, the bold, brash, and brilliantly over-the-top Dame, who kept spirits high with rapid-fire jokes, larger-than-life costumes, and plenty of panto silliness. The magic was balanced perfectly by the deliciously wicked antics of Captain Hook, whose dramatic entrances, exaggerated villainy, and ongoing feud with the ticking crocodile left children giggling and adults in stitches. His loyal but hapless sidekick Mr Smee brought comic mayhem to every scene, ensuring that even Hook’s most dastardly schemes didn’t go quite as planned.

From sword fights aboard the Jolly Roger to whimsical scenes in the enchanted forests of Neverland, the show brimmed with colour, energy, and creativity. Stunning set pieces, lively choreography, and a soundtrack of crowd-pleasing musical numbers kept the atmosphere electric from beginning to end. Audience participation played a huge part, with plenty of chances to boo, cheer, warn the characters of lurking danger, and shout all your favourite panto lines — especially when someone very obviously snuck up behind Hook.

But beyond the laughs and chaos, the production also delivered its share of heartfelt moments. Themes of friendship, bravery, belonging, and the bittersweet idea of growing up resonated beautifully throughout the story. Wendy’s warm storytelling, Peter’s determination to stay forever young, and the Lost Boys’ search for a home gave the show emotional depth that touched audiences young and old.
