Room No. 5 – June 2024

In a dimly lit room, Kal and Missy stumble upon an old, ornate blanket box that has long been forgotten. Its faded wood and intricate carvings give it an air of mystery, and both are immediately drawn to it, yet a palpable tension hangs in the air. They exchange nervous glances, each convinced that something—or someone—might be lurking inside.

As they contemplate what could be hidden within, their imaginations begin to spiral. Kal envisions a ghostly figure, a relic from the past that has been trapped inside for years, while Missy fears a creature, native to childhood nightmares, could be waiting to pounce. They find themselves grappling with their innermost fears, each filling the silence with whispered speculations about what may lie beyond the box’s closed lid.

Feeling an urgency to uncover the truth, they decide to call their friend Tad, known for his bravery—or so they thought. When he arrives, the atmosphere is thick with anticipation. Kal and Missy urge him to open the box, their hearts racing as they stand back, half-excited and half-terrified. With a deep breath and trembling hands, Tad approaches the blanket box.

As he lifts the lid, the moment is electric. A chill rushes through the room, and Tad becomes completely frozen in shock, his eyes wide with terror. Missy and Kal exchange panicked looks, worried about what could have elicited such a visceral reaction.
