The Gloucestershire Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) plays a crucial role in providing essential medical support for premature infants and other newborns requiring specialized care. Recognising the dire need for advanced medical equipment, Scoo-B-Doo has partnered with the SCBU to raise vital funds that go toward acquiring life-saving resources such as ventilators, monitors, incubators, and other state-of-the-art medical devices.

The Hardwicke Players are proud to contribute to this significant cause. They organised various fundraising efforts, including events in Gloucester town center, where they engaged the community and raised awareness about the SCBU’s mission. Additionally, they undertook a sponsored walk from Gloucester town center to Quedgeley, demonstrating their commitment to supporting these fragile lives. Through their collective efforts, they aim to ensure that the SCBU can continue to provide the highest level of care for vulnerable babies and give their families hope during challenging times.
